Rating of the Best Speakers of 2018

2018 was an interesting year for loud statements by top speakers, political, business and religious events, including: reconciliation of North and South Korea, preparation for US elections, military actions in Ukraine and Syria, presentations of new Apple and SpaceX products.

The rating was compiled based on analysis of the brightest and most influential public speeches. The final score was formed from the coefficient of audience impact and the coefficient of public speaking technique.

How was the speakers' rating formed?

The audience impact coefficient is formed from analysis of all public speeches by the speaker and their resonance in media, social networks, and indicators of public opinion change. That is, it determines how much the speaker influenced a wide audience in 2018.

The public speaking technique coefficient was determined based on analysis of all public speeches by the speaker. Its value was influenced by the use of public speaking form and content: use of rhetoric forms, practical and visual argumentation, rhetorical techniques, tactics and strategies of public speeches.

According to calculations made by the Institute of Rhetoric, speakers are listed below from most to least resonant.
